The Cretaceous, 145 – 65 million years ago. The Cretaceaous hall presents the “Golden Age” of the dinosaurs. Meet the Argentinosaurus, the biggest dinosaur ever found. Shiver at the sight of the Giganotosaurus, the biggest carnivorous dinosaur of all times. Experience hourly an impressive and unparalled Sound & Light Show.

With the opening of the Senckenberg exhibiton „GigaSaurus – The giants from Argentina“ the Rhein-Main-area gained a new and unique event location: The GigaSaurus palace. Placed in a top area near the „Messeturm“ (Mainzer Landstraße / Güterplatz) the Palace does not only offer all comforts for demanding people but also a very special atmosphere.

Start of the “Gigasaurier” exhibition
The Senckenberg Research Institute and Museum of Natural History opens the doors to the special exhibition “Gigasaurier – The giants of Argentina” on July 3rd, 2010.
Monday – Wednesday: 9 A.M. until 6 P.M.
